FluoroFoam® is CCG’s line of patented chemically foamable perfluoropolymers. Using Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene (FEP), Perfluoroalkoxy Alkanes (PFA), and Methyl Fluoroacetate (MFA) base resins, CCG is able to achieve foam rates from 20% to 60% for insulation and filler applications. The addition of foam can enhance electrical performance, smoke and flame performance, and reduce material usage. In addition, the inclusion of foam enables light-weighting of customer designs with minimal sacrifices to mechanical performance.
